Dry Needling is modern Western technique designed to reduce muscular tension and pain in a very short period. It is very similar to Acupunture in Traditional Chinese Medicine. However, the method and the science behind will be slightly different.
It is called “Dry” needling because there is no solution injected into the body. It is the use of extremely thin solid filament needle inserted into the muscles.
The goal of this treatment is to:
1. Reduce muscular pain
2. Improve flexibility
3. Increase range of motion.
